Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2 June 2026
About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (Terms) govern your access to and use of the Youzse mobile application (the App) and any related services (together, the Service). The App is operated by Youzse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17254677) whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA.
By downloading, installing or using the App you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the App. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy also apply to your use of the App and are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
- Trading name: Youzse
- Company: Youzse Ltd, company number 17254677
- Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA
- Contact: [email protected]
2. App stores
If you download the App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store you also agree to that store's own terms of use. Those store terms are between you and the store provider and not Youzse Ltd. Where any store rules apply to your use of the App, the relevant store provider is an intended third party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
3. Our promise about your data
We want to be completely clear from the outset. Youzse Ltd has zero interest in monitoring, harvesting or exploiting the contents of your data. We do not sell or rent it. The only reasons we process your data are to keep our infrastructure secure and to give you a smooth and frictionless experience in the App.
Where you use Youzse as a business to manage your own customers, you are the data controller for that customer data and Youzse Ltd acts as your data processor under a Data Processing Agreement that you accept before using the Service. We maintain Article 30 records of our processing, support data subject requests, and only process special category data on the basis of explicit consent. How we handle all personal data is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
4. Eligibility and your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service.
- You may create an account using your email address, or by using Apple Sign In or Google Sign In.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep it up to date.
Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
5. Biometric login (Face ID, Touch ID and fingerprint)
- The App offers optional biometric authentication for faster and more secure sign in.
- Biometric matching happens entirely on your device, using the security features built into your device operating system. Youzse Ltd never receives, stores or has any access to your biometric data. We receive only a simple success or failure signal from your device.
- You can turn biometric login on or off at any time in the App settings or your device settings.
6. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal and limited licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own lawful use of the Service. This licence is not exclusive and you may not transfer it.
You must not:
- copy, modify or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except to the limited extent permitted by law
- rent, lease, sublicence, sell or otherwise commercialise the App
- remove or alter any proprietary notices
- use the App in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation
7. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose
- upload or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, infringing or that contains malware
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, the servers on which it is stored or any connected system or network
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- use the Service to send unsolicited communications
We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached this section.
8. Payments
- Where you make a payment through the App, payment processing is handled by Stripe, our independent payment provider.
- Youzse Ltd does not collect or store your full payment card details. Your card information is provided directly to Stripe and processed under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
- You are responsible for ensuring that the payment details you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
Stripe is a separate company. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or availability of Stripe, and any payment dispute that relates to Stripe's own processing may also be subject to Stripe's terms. Specific pricing, fees, refunds and any subscription terms are set out at the point of purchase or in the relevant plan description.
9. Camera, QR codes and appointment images
- The App can use your device camera to scan QR codes and, where a business has enabled it and the customer has agreed, to capture images in connection with an appointment.
- The camera is used only for these purposes. Youzse Ltd does not use the camera for any other form of image or video capture, and we never capture images in the background.
- You should only scan QR codes from sources you trust.
- If you capture or upload images of a customer, you are responsible for having the appropriate consent. Youzse Ltd processes those images on the business's behalf as its data processor under our Data Processing Agreement. How appointment images and any special category data are handled is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Location based features
- With your permission, the App uses your device location to power features such as discovery, address look up and showing relevant nearby services on a map.
- You can grant or withdraw location access at any time through your device settings. Some features may not work as intended if location access is switched off.
11. Push notifications
- With your permission we may send you push notifications about your account, bookings, service updates and similar matters.
- You can turn push notifications off at any time in your device settings.
12. Third party services and integrations
The App relies on a small number of trusted external services to function, including Stripe (payments), Apple Sign In and Google Sign In (authentication), Cloudflare (infrastructure, routing, security and content delivery), and Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (analytics and marketing measurement).
- Each of these providers is a separate company that operates under its own terms and privacy policy.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, Youzse Ltd is not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, security or performance of any third party service, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, such a service.
- We use Cloudflare AI Workers on our backend for routine operational tasks such as generating logos. This is automated processing carried out on our own infrastructure to deliver a feature. The App does not include any user facing AI assistant or chatbot, and we do not use your personal data to train any third party AI model.
13. Our content and intellectual property
- The App, its content, design, trademarks and underlying software are owned by or licensed to Youzse Ltd and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you, except for the limited licence to use the App set out above.
14. Your content
- You retain ownership of any content you submit through the App (Your Content).
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process Your Content only so far as is necessary to provide the Service to you.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe the rights of others.
15. Service availability and changes
- We work hard to keep the Service available and reliable, and our infrastructure is delivered through Cloudflare for routing, security and performance.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, secure or free from errors. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict availability for business or operational reasons, and will give reasonable notice where we can.
- We may update the App from time to time to improve performance, add features or meet legal requirements.
16. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject always to the section on our liability to you, the App and the Service are provided on an as is and as available basis. We make no promises that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be compatible with any particular device, or that any defect will be corrected. Any warranties, conditions or terms implied by law are excluded to the maximum extent the law allows.
17. Our liability to you
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- any breach of your legal rights as a consumer
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded
Subject to the above:
- We provide the App for your personal use. If you use the App for any commercial purpose, we will have no liability to you for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
- We will not be liable for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable.
- We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by, or arising from, any third party service the App relies on (including the app stores, Stripe, Cloudflare, Google, Apple or Meta), or by your device operating system, to the extent that loss is outside our reasonable control.
- We will not be liable for any loss caused by your failure to keep your login credentials secure.
- Our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, will not exceed the greater of one hundred pounds or the total amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This section does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.
18. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Youzse Ltd and keep it indemnified against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and reasonable expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms
- your misuse of the Service
- any content you submit through the App
- your breach of any law or of the rights of any other person
in each case to the extent the claim or loss is caused by your own act, default, unlawful conduct or negligence. This section does not apply to anything we are not permitted by law to require you to indemnify.
19. Events outside our control
Youzse Ltd will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where that failure or delay results from events outside our reasonable control, including failures of telecommunications networks, internet service providers, third party platforms or suppliers, power failures, acts of government, strikes, fire, flood or other events of force majeure.
20. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, or if we are required to do so by law.
- On termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the App. Sections intended to survive termination (including those on liability, indemnity and intellectual property) will continue to apply.
21. Changes to these Terms
- We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date and, where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by in app notice or push notification.
- Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
22. Resolving disputes
We would always prefer to resolve any concern quickly and informally. If you have a problem, please contact us first at [email protected] and we will work with you in good faith to resolve it. If we cannot resolve the matter informally, the following terms apply to any dispute.
23. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and this proviso applies only so far as the law requires it.
24. General
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- A failure by us to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations, provided this does not adversely affect your rights.
- These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Youzse Ltd in relation to the App.
