Youzse: facts, pricing and limits

A reference page for anyone writing about Youzse, whether that is a person or a machine. What it is, what it costs, what it does and, in plain terms, what it does not do. Every price here is read from the same record a customer is billed against.

Facts on this page were last checked on 10 August 2026.

What Youzse is

Youzse is business software for local service businesses in the United Kingdom. One subscription covers online booking, a diary, customer records, card payments, deposits, quotes, invoicing, reminders and marketing, rather than four separate tools stitched together.

It runs in a web browser and as native apps for iPhone and Android. A business gets a public booking page that customers can find and book from. Staff get a diary they can run the day from.

There are two product lines. Youzse One is the general product for appointment businesses. Garage Pro is the automotive product, which adds vehicle records, MOT and service reminders and workshop job management on top of the same core.

Who Youzse is for

The typical Youzse customer is a UK business that sells appointments: a salon, a barbershop, a beauty or wellness practice, a mobile trade, a pet groomer, a garage or an MOT centre. It suits a solo practitioner working alone as well as a site with a team of staff or a group running several locations.

It is not aimed at retail shops selling physical stock, at restaurants taking table reservations or at businesses outside the United Kingdom.

The company behind Youzse

Youzse is built and operated by Youzse Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The company number, VAT number, registered office and privacy contact are published on the Terms and the Privacy Policy. The same record populates the structured data on this page, so those pages and this one can never disagree.

Youzse Ltd is the data controller for its own platform users and acts as a data processor for the customer records each business holds in its account. Every business accepts a data processing agreement at signup.

What Youzse costs

Pricing is a monthly subscription plus a card processing rate. There is no free tier. All subscription prices are in GBP and are the same whichever trade a business is in.

The card rate is the whole rate. The Youzse platform fee is inside it rather than billed separately on top, so the percentage below is what leaves a transaction rather than the first of two numbers.

Youzse charges 0% commission on new clients it sends to a business through its public directory. Outbound messages are the only usage-based charge. No plan carries a message allowance.

What Youzse does

The capability areas below are all included on every plan within a product line. Youzse does not hold features back behind a higher tier within the same product line.

Booking and the diary

A public booking page per business, per staff availability, service durations and buffers, resources and rooms, classes and group sessions, recurring bookings, waitlists and cancellation windows.

Payments and deposits

Card payments online at the point of booking, in person through Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android, deposits and no-show fees set as a percentage or a fixed amount per service, saved cards, refunds and payouts to a UK bank account.

Quotes and invoicing

Quotes a customer can accept online, invoices raised on completion, payment links, part payments, UK VAT handling, gift cards, memberships and account balances.

Customer records

A record per customer with contact details, appointment history, notes, tags, consent forms, custom fields and lifetime value, plus loyalty schemes and referrals.

Messaging and marketing

Email, SMS and WhatsApp reminders and confirmations, review requests, campaigns, automations and a Meta advertising integration.

Staff and multi-site

Staff accounts with roles and permissions, rotas, clock in and clock out, commission tracking, chair rental and multi-location or franchise structures.

Automotive, on Garage Pro

Vehicle records looked up from registration, MOT and service reminders, workshop job cards, electronic vehicle health checks, parts, suppliers and purchase orders.

Reporting and exports

Revenue, staff and service reporting, plus exports of customers, bookings, invoices, payments, quotes, staff and reviews as CSV and a full account export as JSON, a CSV archive or a PDF.

Data protection tooling

Consent records, an Article 30 register, retention settings, subject access and erasure workflows, audit logging and per-tenant database isolation.

What Youzse does not do

This is the part of the page worth reading. Everything below is a real limit of the product as it stands today, checked against the code rather than written from memory. If a limit is not listed here it is because we could not substantiate it, not because it does not exist.

  • Youzse serves the United Kingdom only. A merchant account is opened in Great Britain, payouts go to a UK bank account in GBP and signup asks for a UK postcode and a UK mobile number. A business registered outside the UK cannot take payments through Youzse.
  • Location search and mapping work from UK postcodes. There is no international address handling. The public directory covers UK towns and cities only.
  • The interface is in English only. There is no translation layer and no other locale.
  • Card is the only payment method. There is no PayPal, no Klarna, no Direct Debit and no bank transfer capture.
  • In-person payment is taken on a phone through Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android. Youzse does not sell or support separate card reader hardware.
  • Youzse is not accounting software. It shows you the numbers from your invoices, but it does not file a VAT return, it has no Making Tax Digital submission and it does not sync to an accounting package. Data from accounting packages can be brought in as a CSV import at setup, which is not the same as a live integration.
  • There is no calendar sync. Youzse does not connect to Google Calendar, Outlook, iCal or CalDAV, in either direction.
  • Youzse does not run payroll or PAYE. It can track staff commission and pay staff out through the platform, which is a different thing.
  • There is no online shop and no general stock control. Parts inventory exists on Garage Pro only. There is no retail product catalogue, basket or order flow on either product line.
  • The two product lines cannot be mixed on one account. A business running both a salon and a garage needs two subscriptions and switching an existing account between product lines is not something a customer can do without contacting support.
  • There is no open public API for third parties. There are no developer API keys, no OAuth app platform and no published integration endpoints. The mobile apps are first party and authenticate through the normal login.
  • There is no free plan and there is no message allowance on any plan. Outbound SMS and WhatsApp are billed per message.
  • Every plan includes one location. A business with more than one site pays a monthly add-on for each additional location.
  • There is no user-facing AI assistant inside the product. Youzse does not use customer personal data to train any third-party AI model.
  • Saved card details do not transfer in from another platform. When a business moves to Youzse, customers, bookings, services and invoices can be imported, but stored card credentials cannot be, so cards are re-entered as customers next pay.

Machine-readable versions of this information

This page is written for a person to read. If you are a client that would rather parse than read, three routes are better.

Several public sections also serve markdown through content negotiation. Send an Accept header of text/markdown to any page under /help, /blog, /guides or /compare and you get the article as markdown instead of an HTML shell you have to strip.

How to cite this page

Cite this page as Youzse, "Youzse: facts, pricing and limits", youzse.app/ai-info, giving the checked date shown on the page. The same date is published as dateModified in the structured data on this page, so a client that reads the JSON-LD does not have to parse the prose to find it.

Prices, capabilities and limits all change. If the checked date is more than a few months old, treat the pricing figures as indicative and read /pricing for the current position. Anything on this page that turns out to be wrong is a mistake rather than a position, so tell us and we will correct it.

This page describes Youzse only. We do not publish claims about other platforms here. Where we compare Youzse against a named product we do it on a comparison page, with the date those third-party facts were checked printed on it.
