More cuts, less admin
Online booking, walk-in queues, card deposits and reminders in one app. Built for the chair and the whole shop.
No commission on new clients. No per client charges.
One monthly subscription. 2.5% + 35p only when you take a card payment.
Keep the chair full, all day
Regulars rebook in two taps and walk-ins join a live queue. Your barbers see their own column and clients get reminded so they turn up on time.
No commission on new clients. No per client charges.
One monthly subscription. 2.5% + 35p only when you take a card payment.
Set up in 2 minutes. No credit card required.

Turn the chair over, not the till
Barbering runs on volume and small tickets, and the fixed part of a card fee bites hardest there. Take payment on your phone at the chair, keep the queue moving and let regulars pay for a block of cuts up front.
No commission on new clients, ever.
One card rate of 2.5% plus 35p, with the platform fee inside it.
Set up in 2 minutes. No credit card required.

Every four weeks, like clockwork
A barber shop lives on the regular who comes back on the same rhythm. Youzse learns that rhythm and nudges him at the right moment, so the gap between visits stops drifting from four weeks to seven.
The client list is yours.
Unlimited customer records on every plan, yours to export at any time.
Set up in 2 minutes. No credit card required.

Running a barbers business
Barbering is a low ticket, high volume trade, and that one fact changes almost every decision in the shop. Turning over what a salon turns over takes four times as many people through the door, so anything costing you per transaction costs you four times over.
Why the fixed pence matters more than the percentage
- Card processing is a percentage plus a fixed amount, and the fixed amount does not care that the sale is fifteen pounds
- A shop doing four hundred cuts a month pays that fixed element four hundred times, which is the number to compare between providers
- Youzse charges 2.5% plus 35p on card payments with the platform fee inside that rate, so the fixed pence is visible rather than buried in a bundle
- Selling five cuts as one prepaid block turns five fixed charges into one and banks the money before the first cut
- Cash avoids the fee and removes the record, which is why a cash only shop never knows its own rebooking rate
Walk-ins and the booked column are in permanent conflict
Most shops run both and the friction is always identical. A walk-in taken at the wrong minute pushes a booked client back a quarter of an hour, and the booked client is the one who complains, because he is the one who planned his day around you.
Deposits belong on the long appointments only. A skin fade with a beard sculpt holding a chair for an hour is worth protecting. Asking for a deposit on a fifteen minute dry cut costs more in friction at the door than it will ever save.
A barber week and where the money actually sits
| When | Who comes in | What it means for the chair |
|---|---|---|
| Monday and Tuesday | Retired regulars, shift workers and few others | The right days for training, stock and selling prepaid blocks |
| Wednesday and Thursday | Steady booked work with some walk-ins | Where a standing appointment can be moved without a fight |
| Friday | Men getting sorted before the weekend | Fills itself, so protect it for the higher ticket work |
| Saturday | Everybody, all at once, mostly on spec | The only day capacity genuinely runs out |
| The fortnight before Christmas | Every regular plus every lapsed one | The year is settled here, and it is settled by queue management |
A shop that works deliberately at its Monday and Tuesday is a shop with five earning days rather than three.
The four week rhythm is the entire business
A barbershop lives on the man who comes back on a predictable cycle. The commercial risk is not that he defects to another shop, it is that four weeks quietly becomes six and then seven without him making any decision at all.
Prompt him at week three on his own interval. A number two all over and a scissor cut grown out are not the same cycle, and a monthly message to the whole list treats them as though they are.
The lapsed list is the cheapest work in the trade. A man who has not been in for ten weeks has rarely found somebody better. He has been busy, and one message brings a surprising number of them back.
What a well run shop does
- Compares card providers on fixed pence multiplied by transaction count
- Sells prepaid blocks of cuts to bank the cash and lock in the regular
- Holds explicit walk-in capacity rather than improvising on the day
- Takes deposits only on the appointments that hold a chair for an hour
- Prompts each regular on his own interval rather than sending one monthly blast
- Records guard numbers, neckline and beard preferences against the client
- Works the Monday and Tuesday deliberately instead of accepting them as dead
