Schedulista prices in US dollars and labels it as such on its own pricing page: 19 dollars a month for one person and 39 dollars a month for anywhere between two and fifteen staff. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Pacific time, on a US toll free number. Neither of those is a criticism. They are just the shape of running a UK business on a US product, and for plenty of businesses they never cause a moment's trouble. What follows is what each company publishes, what Schedulista does better than most and what a scheduler does not do once money starts moving in more than one direction.
Published pricing, in the currency each company published it
| Schedulista | Youzse | |
|---|---|---|
| One person | 19 USD per month, billed per business for a single person, VAT treatment not stated | £19 per month in GBP, entry plan, billed per business, VAT treatment set out on the Youzse pricing page |
| Small team | 39 USD per month, flat for anywhere from 2 to 15 staff, VAT treatment not stated | GBP plans rising above £19 per month by feature set |
| Larger team | More than 15 staff is custom and the price is not published | GBP pricing published on the Youzse pricing page rather than quoted |
| Free trial | 15 days | 30 days, no card required |
| Card rate | Not published. Schedulista resells Stripe but publishes no rate of its own | 2.5% plus 35p in GBP per transaction, with the platform fee inside that rate |
| Support hours | Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Pacific time, on a US toll free number | UK platform, so the clock and the currency are UK by default |

What a scheduler is, and what it is not
Schedulista is a scheduler and it is honest about being one. There is no POS, no hardware, no stock and no marketplace. If your business is you, a diary and a phone that rings, that is a clean fit, and the extra machinery a bigger platform brings would only get in the way.
The question is what happens after the booking. A scheduler books the appointment. It does not hold a deposit against a no show, raise the quote before the work, issue the invoice after it, chase the payment, keep client history in a form you can market from, run a loyalty scheme or a membership, sell a gift card or produce your VAT return. Each of those arrives as a separate tool, with a separate bill, a separate login and a reconciliation job joining them together.
Youzse is built the other way round: one system covering booking, deposits, payments, quotes, invoices, CRM, marketing, loyalty, gift cards, memberships, forms and VAT returns across more than 60 trades. That is a bigger surface to learn and it is more software than a solo diary needs. It earns its place at the point where the diary stops being the whole job.
Where Schedulista is genuinely strong
- Free unlimited SMS reminders, stated as included rather than metered. Most platforms meter SMS, so this is unusual and it is worth real money if you send a lot of them.
- Flat all in pricing with no feature gating, so the thing you need is not sitting one tier up.
- Band pricing rather than per user pricing. A team of fifteen pays the same 39 dollars a month as a team of two.
- In their own words, flat fee, no setup charges, all features included.
- Two way Google Calendar sync, plus Outlook, iPhone and Android sync.
- Localised for several languages and workable internationally, even though it is a US product.
Running the week
- Reminders. Schedulista includes free unlimited SMS reminders in the plan. Youzse has reminders and notifications built in but makes no unlimited SMS claim, so ask us to price your volume rather than assume it.
- Taking money. Schedulista has no POS and publishes no card rate of its own. Youzse takes card payments at 2.5% plus 35p in GBP, with deposits at booking and invoices on completion.
- Team size. Schedulista covers 2 to 15 staff on one flat price, with above 15 unpublished. Youzse starts at £19 a month and steps up with what the business needs.
- Currency. Schedulista publishes in USD and labels it as such. Youzse publishes in GBP throughout.
- Support clock. Schedulista runs Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 Pacific time. Youzse is a UK platform working to UK time.
- Scope. Schedulista is pure scheduling with no POS, hardware or marketplace. Youzse runs booking through to VAT returns, with 0% commission on new clients.
Where Youzse costs more, and where we will not guess
Start with what we refuse to do. Schedulista publishes in US dollars and Youzse publishes in pounds. Converting one into the other gives you a number that moves daily and quietly hides whatever your card issuer adds, so both stay in the currency their owner published.
What we can say is this. Schedulista holds one price across a whole band, so a fifteen person team pays what a two person team pays. Youzse does not work that way. Youzse starts at £19 a month and moves up with the plan, so a growing team pays more than the entry price. For a business that only ever wanted a diary, Youzse will be both the more expensive and the more complicated choice, and you should not buy it.
The trade is scope. Youzse publishes one card rate in pounds at 2.5% plus 35p with the platform fee inside it, charges 0% commission on new clients and gives you 30 days to test it with no card required, against 15 days at Schedulista. If all you need is a calendar and reminders, that scope is overhead you will resent. If you are holding deposits, issuing invoices and filing VAT, it is the entire reason to move.
