Both start in the same place
Motasoft VGM is known for a cloud diary, online bookings, job management, customer reminders and workshop workflow. That is a close description of what Youzse Garage Pro does too, which is unusual in this market and means the comparison has to go deeper than a feature list.
The split is what a booking turns into. Both will get a customer into the diary. The question is whether the system carries the job from there to a paid invoice without you chasing anything.
Follow one job through
A customer books online for a service. On the ramp you find the rear pads are gone. Now you need the customer to see it, agree to it and pay for it, and none of that is a diary problem.
Youzse Garage Pro sends a quote with photos to their phone for approval, adds the parts to the job with a purchase order against the supplier, and takes payment by link at 2.5% plus 35p before the car is collected. The VAT return picks it up at the end of the quarter.
That is the stretch to test on any demo. Getting the booking is the easy half.

Test the whole journey, not the diary
- Book a job as a customer would. How many steps, and does it work on a phone?
- Add unexpected work mid job. How does the customer see and approve it?
- Attach a photo to that approval. Can you?
- Order a part against the job. Is there a purchase order behind it?
- Take payment before collection. What does it cost you per transaction?
- Produce the VAT return. Is it MTD ready or an export?
Where each one lands
If online booking volume is the thing you are missing and the rest of your process already works, Motasoft is aimed squarely at that and has the history behind it.
If bookings are fine but jobs stall waiting for approval, parts go untracked and money arrives late, the diary is not your problem and a better diary will not fix it. Garage Pro is published at £59 a month with a 30 day trial and no card, so testing that costs nothing but the time.
How we worked this out
Every figure quoted for another garage system was read from that company's own public pages on the date shown at the bottom of this page. Most UK workshop systems quote on request rather than publishing a price, and where that is the case we have said so rather than printing an estimate.
Garage quotes usually move once users, sites, data licences, SMS bundles, setup and training are added. Ask for the full monthly and setup cost in writing, and ask what happens at the end of the contract, before you compare anything against anything.
