Refunds come from the business you paid. Contact them directly, and once issued the money takes a few working days to reach your bank.
How to ask
Contact the business with the date, the amount and what the problem was. Open the transaction in your account for the details, which makes it much quicker for them to find.
How long it takes
The business issues it, then your bank processes it. A few working days is normal, and it is your bank rather than the business that decides the exact day.
Refunds go back the way they came
A card payment is refunded to that card. If the card has since been cancelled, tell your bank, because they can usually still allocate it.
If you cannot agree
Try the business first, calmly and in writing. Your rights as a consumer are unaffected by any policy they state, and your card provider may be able to help if it cannot be resolved.
Common questions
Can Youzse refund me directly?
No. The business you paid holds the money and issues the refund.
How will I know it has been done?
A refund shows in your transactions once the business issues it, before it reaches your bank.
What if the business will not respond?
Put it in writing, keep a copy and speak to your card provider about a chargeback if it stays unresolved.
