Repeat customers are the backbone of a service business. Youzse gives you two ways to encourage them to come back: paid memberships and a loyalty programme.

Memberships

A membership is a recurring paid plan a customer subscribes to, for example a monthly plan that includes certain services or a discount. You create plans with a name, price and billing interval, set the benefits and choose whether to cap the number of members. Customers are billed automatically on each renewal.

Managing a membership

Once someone is subscribed you can pause, resume or cancel their membership as their needs change. Each membership shows its status and current billing period on the customer record, so you always know who is active.

Setting benefits

Benefits are flexible. A plan might include specific services, an unlimited allowance or a member discount that applies at checkout. Choose what fits how you work and what gives members real value.

Loyalty

The loyalty programme rewards customers for spending or visiting. You can run it in one of three modes

  • Points: earn points per pound spent and redeem them against rewards
  • Stamps: collect a stamp per visit, with a reward once they reach the target
  • Cashback: earn a percentage of spend back as credit

Rewards and extras

Define the rewards customers can redeem, and optionally add a welcome bonus for joining or a referral bonus. You can also set points to expire after a period if you wish. A customer's balance and history sit on their record, and you can adjust it by hand when needed.

Choosing your approach

Memberships suit predictable, recurring revenue. Loyalty suits encouraging more frequent visits. Many businesses run both. Start simple and adjust as you see what your customers respond to.

Common questions

What is the difference between the two?

A membership is a recurring payment for ongoing benefits. Loyalty rewards spend or visits you have already had.

Can I run both?

Yes, and they work well together. A membership secures the revenue, loyalty rewards the regulars.

Do balances transfer from another platform?

No. Loyalty balances and package credits do not transfer, so credit long-standing customers by hand.
