Beyond two-factor, Youzse gives you a few more ways to keep your account safe. You will find these under your account security and sessions settings.
Active sessions
This shows everywhere you are currently logged in, with the device, browser, rough location and when it was last active. Your current session is marked so you know which is which.
If you spot something you do not recognise, you can
- Revoke a single session to sign that device out.
- Sign out everywhere else in one go, keeping only your current session.
Revoking a session logs that device out straight away and we send you a notification so you have a record of it.
Trusted devices
When you log in with two-factor, you can choose to trust that device for thirty days so you are not asked for a code every time on your own phone or computer. Only do this on devices that are yours. You can revoke trust for one device or for all of them at once, which is the right move if a device is lost or shared.
Password confirmation
For sensitive actions, like changing your password or managing payment methods, we ask you to confirm your password again first. This is a short-lived check that protects you if you step away from a logged-in screen. Just enter your password when prompted and carry on.
Session timeout
For security your session has a maximum lifetime, so you will be asked to log in again after a long stretch. When your session is close to expiring you can extend it with one click, up to that maximum, rather than starting over.
Good habits
Use a strong, unique password, turn on two-factor, only trust your own devices and sign out of anything you no longer use.
Common questions
Why was I asked for my password again?
Sensitive actions ask you to confirm, so somebody at an unattended screen cannot change them.
What is a trusted device?
A device you have marked as yours, so you are not challenged every time. Only do it on devices you control.
Will Youzse ever ask for my password?
No, and neither will support. Anybody who does is not who they claim to be.
