Money questions the Youzse assistant can answer

Ask about takings, spend, card and cash, VAT returns, deposits and overdue invoices.

You can ask Youzse about the money in this business. It answers from the records, in a sentence. When the answer is a set of figures, the card draws the bars and the sentence is the headline.

Suggested money prompts such as How are the takings and What is still outstanding.
Suggested money prompts such as How are the takings and What is still outstanding.

What you can ask

  • Takings: what the business has taken
  • Spend: what the business has spent
  • Card and cash: how the money came in, split between card and cash
  • VAT returns: the VAT returns on the records
  • Deposits: deposits that are held
  • Overdue invoices: invoices that are past due
  • What is still outstanding

Ask in ordinary words. "What were takings this week", "How much was card and how much was cash", and "Which invoices are overdue" are all enough.

The figures belong to the business you are signed into. Switch business before you ask about another one's money. Youzse does not pull another business's takings, spend or invoices into the reply.

Two things it will not do with money
it will not charge a card, and it will not issue a refund. Asking about takings or about an overdue invoice does not take a payment. If a reply would change something else, that change still waits until you press Confirm.

Common questions

Will it tell me card and cash separately?

Yes. Ask how the money came in. The sentence is the headline, and the card draws the bars when there is more than one figure.

Can it pay an overdue invoice, or refund a deposit?

No. It can tell you about overdue invoices and about deposits. It does not charge a card and it does not issue a refund.

Whose VAT return is it talking about?

The VAT returns for the business you are signed into.
