Youzse recognises Vagaro's column names, so a Vagaro export imports with the mapping already done for you. Export your data, upload the files and check the Mapping step rather than filling it in.
Exporting from Vagaro
Sign in at vagaro.com/pro.
- 1Open Reports from the main navigation.
- 2Go to Customer Reports, then Customer List and export as CSV.
- 3Go to Appointment Reports, then Appointment List. Set the widest date range and export.
- 4Export your service list from the service reports if you want prices to come across.
Uploading to Youzse
- 1Go to Import Data in the sidebar
- 2Start the guided migration and add your files at the Files step
- 3At the Mapping step, check what has been matched, which coming from Vagaro should already be right
- 4At the Settings step, describe where the data came from and pick your lawful basis
- 5Review the counts and run it
There is no step where you tell Youzse you are coming from Vagaro. It is worked out from the headers in your file.
Columns Youzse recognises
- Customers: First Name, Last Name, Email, Cell Phone, Home Phone, Birthday, Notes, Address, City, State, Zip and Referred By
- Services: Service Name, Service Category, Duration, Price and Description
- Appointments: Date, Time, Service, Customer, Customer Email, Employee, Duration, Price, Status and Notes
- Staff: Employee Name, First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone and Title
Worth knowing
- Cell Phone is used as the phone number, and Work Phone is deliberately not imported because most businesses ring the mobile
- Referred By is brought across as the customer source, which is useful for seeing where your clients came from
- The Vagaro status checked out is mapped to completed, and booked to confirmed
What will not come across
- Saved card details, which no platform can transfer
- Photos and attachments
- Staff logins, because staff are invited to set their own password
Common questions
Which phone number does Vagaro send over?
Cell Phone, falling back to Home Phone. Work Phone is not imported.
Is Preferred Stylist imported?
It is recognised in the export but not stored as a field. Assign a preferred staff member in Youzse if you want that behaviour.
State is a US field. What happens to it?
It is mapped to the county field, which is where a UK address expects it.

Using the import wizard
The guided migration runs Files, Mapping, Settings, Review then Run, and works out what each file holds from its headers automatically.
Checking your imported data
Read the created, updated, skipped and error counts, then spot-check about ten real records against your old system.
The order to import things in
Import staff first, then services, then customers, then appointments, so each import can link to the records it depends on.
