Understanding Youzse fees

It helps to know exactly what comes off a payment before it reaches your bank. Youzse keeps this simple and shows it plainly.

Card processing

When a customer pays by card, a processing fee applies to that transaction. The standard UK rate is 2.5% + 35p per transaction. This covers both the card processing and Youzse handling the payment, with no reader to hire and no monthly terminal fee.

Cards issued outside the UK can carry a higher rate, as international and premium cards cost more to process. You can see your real, rolling effective rate in your payment settings, so you always know what you are actually paying across recent payments.

Commission on new clients

This is where Youzse is different. You pay 0% commission on new clients you win through Youzse. When the platform sends you a customer you would not otherwise have had, you do not pay a slice of that booking as commission. You keep the value of the relationship and every repeat visit that follows.

Other charges to be aware of

• A small fee may apply per payout to your bank
• If a customer raises a chargeback or dispute, a dispute fee applies, as it does with any card processor
• Faster, instant payouts, where available, carry a small percentage fee on top of the standard payout
