Setting availability, breaks and time off

Control your working hours, lunch breaks and days off so only real slots show.

Your availability decides which slots customers can book online. Set it once and Youzse keeps your booking page honest, so no one books a time you cannot work.

Setting working hours

Each team member has their own weekly pattern. For every day of the week you set whether they are working and their start and finish times. Days marked as not working show no slots at all.

If a team member works across more than one location, you set their hours per location so each diary stays accurate.

Adding a break

You can add a daily break, such as lunch, to each working day. Online slots will skip the break window automatically, and you will be warned if you try to book over it by hand.

Booking time off

For holidays, training or the odd day away, add time off for the dates concerned. Those days stop offering slots while the time off is in place. Depending on your team setup, time off may go to a manager for approval before it takes effect.

Why it matters

  • Customers only ever see times you can genuinely work.
  • Your team's diaries stay realistic, which cuts down on clashes.
  • Existing bookings are never moved automatically. If time off lands on a day with bookings, you will still see them so you can reschedule or get in touch.

Keep your hours up to date and your booking page does the gatekeeping for you.

Common questions

Does blocking time cancel bookings already made?

No. It stops new bookings. Check the dates and move anything already in the diary yourself.

How do I close the whole business for a day?

Settings, then Business Holidays. That closes the day for everybody rather than one person.

Should I put lunch in as a break?

Yes, as part of the working pattern, so it is protected automatically rather than relying on memory.
